Blood Draw Appointment

Blood Draw Appointment

A quick, professional blood draw in a CQC-registered clinic.

I know blood draws aren’t everyone’s favourite—so I make sure the experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Using sterile, single-use equipment and following strict clinical protocols, I’ll ensure your sample is collected safely and packaged correctly, ready for sending to the laboratory promptly.

You’ll be in safe, experienced hands from start to finish.

Do I need a GP or doctor's referral for a Blood Draw?

No. As a CQC-registered phlebotomist, I provide services for private and functional health testing kits. You do not need a referral from your GP. You simply need the test kit and forms provided by your testing company or nutritionist.

Can I use my own home testing kit?

Yes. We are happy to collect the blood sample for any reputable testing kit that requires a venous blood draw. Please ensure you bring the complete kit and all necessary forms.

How long does the blood draw take?

The appointment generally takes about 15 minutes.

Is your clinic CQC-registered?

Yes. Our service is CQC-registered, meaning we adhere to the strict standards and clinical governance required for patient safety and quality of care during the phlebotomy process.

What is the difference between a standard Blood draw and the Centrifuge service?

A standard blood draw is sufficient for whole blood tests. The Centrifuge service is required for tests that need the blood sample to be immediately separated into serum or plasma. The sample is processed on-site to ensure the highest integrity and accuracy for sensitive tests.
Find out more here about our Centrifuge service.

How should I prepare for my Blood Draw Appointment?

Always follow the specific instructions provided with your test kit (e.g., fasting for 8-12 hours, specific timing, or supplements to pause). Crucially, please stay well-hydrated before your appointment and wear clothing that allows sleeves to be rolled up easily.

When will my test results be ready?

Please check with your test provider for result timelines, as each provider may have different schedules.
