Welcome to Luanne Naturopathic Nutrition & Phlebotomy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By registering, filling out a contact form, booking an appointment, or signing up for our services, you agree to be bound by these terms

1. About Our Service

Luanne Naturopathic Nutrition & Phlebotomy provides naturopathic nutrition consultations and phlebotomy services. We are proud members of:

  • The Naturopathic Nutrition Association (NNA)
  • The Complementary Health Nutrition Council (CHNC)
  • The General Naturopathic Council (GNC)
  • CQC registered as a phlebotomist

2. Professional Relationship

Our services are provided for informational and wellness purposes. While we adhere to professional standards set by our regulatory bodies, naturopathic nutrition advice does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. You should always consult with your GP or qualified medical professional regarding any health concerns.

3. Booking and Registration

3.1 Appointments

  • All appointments must be booked in advance through our website, email, or telephone
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering or booking
  • Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of any required deposit or payment

3.2 Payment

  • Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking
  • Full payment is required unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the appointment cost
  • Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will result in the full appointment fee being charged

4.2 Our Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will provide as much notice as
possible and offer alternative times or a full refund.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate health and medical history information
  • Inform us of any changes to your health status, medications, or circumstances
  • Follow any pre-appointment instructions provided
  • Arrive on time for appointments
  • Notify us of any allergies, sensitivities, or concerns.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
By using our services, you consent to:

  • Collection and processing of personal and health data are necessary for service provision
  • Secure storage of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Communication regarding your appointments and health matters

Your information will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law or professional regulatory bodies.

7. Phlebotomy Services

7.1 CQC Compliance

Our phlebotomy services are provided in accordance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and regulations.

7.2 Consent

By booking a phlebotomy appointment, you consent to the blood collection procedure. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time before or during the procedure.

7.3 Risks

You acknowledge that phlebotomy procedures carry minor risks, including bruising, discomfort, or rarely, infection at the puncture site. We follow strict protocols to minimise these risks.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question
  • We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from failure to follow advice or recommendations
  • We do not guarantee specific health outcomes or results

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and materials provided during consultations, remains our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission

10. Website Use

When using our website, you agree to:

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website
  • Do not transmit any harmful code or malicious software
  • Do not use automated systems to access the website without permission

11. Complaints and Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Complaints may also be directed to our professional regulatory bodies (NNA, CHNC, GNC) or the CQC, where applicable

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend service provision if:

  • You breach these Terms and Conditions
  • You engage in abusive or threatening behaviour toward our staff
  • Payment is not received as agreed
  • Providing services is no longer appropriate or safe

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
